Hi Everyone, this is the place where I will update my life to you from Japan. Feel free to come by and check it out. I don't even know what it is yet and I'm looking forward to finding out!

At the moment, I'm still in Wellington waiting for the big plane flight on Saturday to Tokyo. We've got a final pre-departure orientation here at the Japanese Embassy and then that's it for NZ.

I've got most of my essential possessions down to a pack and a briefcase so everything is light and useful.

When I get to Japan, I'll start typing in here as soon as my Internet connection (ISP) is setup at my new apartment! I'm travelling to Okawachi where I will be teaching English language to secondary and elementary school students. The town has a population of about 8,000 and is up in the mountains of the Hyogo prefecture, about an 1.5 hours by train to Himeji, Kobe and then Osaka. I'll be there in less than a week so it's not far away!

Wow, looking forward to it!
